Dom Hawes

Dom Hawes hosts the Unicorny podcast. He built a private-equity-backed marketing services group from nothing to £22 million in fees, through 13 acquisitions in four years.

He now advises founders who are preparing to sell their business, or who want to buy into a larger group. His background is as an operator. He has raised capital, bought businesses, integrated business units, restructured groups, and managed debt and governance through several market cycles.

He works mainly with businesses with revenue up to £5 million, where there is real value that is often poorly explained. He focuses on preparation, on finding the right structure for a deal, and on carrying it through. In 2022, PRovoke Media named him in its Innovator 25 EMEA list.
